Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to DOSE Social! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DOSE Social platform, including our website, mobile applications, and other services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Account Creation and Use

  1. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  3. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  4. You may not create multiple accounts or use the Service for any unauthorized purpose.
  5. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, without notice.

3. User Content

  1. You retain all rights to the content you post or otherwise make available on the Service ("User Content"). DOSE Social will not use or resell your User Content for any purpose, including but not limited to advertising, marketing, or commercial gain.
  2. You are solely responsible for your User Content.
  3. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to your User Content and that your User Content does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
  4. While you retain all rights to your User Content, you grant DOSE Social a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license solely to operate and provide the Service. This license allows us to display your content to other users, store it on our servers, and perform other actions necessary for the functioning of the platform. This license does not grant DOSE Social the right to use your content for any purpose other than providing the Service.
  5. We do not endorse any User Content and are not responsible for its accuracy, completeness, or legality.
  6. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any of the following purposes:

  1. Posting or transmitting any content that is intended to harm or intimidate others, including content that is hateful, discriminatory, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, or invasive of another's privacy.
  2. Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity.
  3. Interfering with or disrupting the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
  4. Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or other users' accounts.
  5. Violating any applicable local, state, national or international law.

5. Subscription & Payment

  1. The Service is offered on a subscription basis.
  2. The subscription fee is 1 EUR per month.
  3. Payment is processed through our designated payment processor.
  4. You agree to pay the applicable subscription fee.
  5. Changes to the subscription fee will be determined by the DOSE DAO through a voting process. You will be notified of any proposed changes and the outcome of the vote.
  6. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription through your account settings.

6. Intellectual Property

  1. The Service and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and software, excluding User Content, are the property of DOSE Social and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
  2. You may not use any content from the Service, excluding your own User Content, without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
